So, I am supposed to tell you all something about myself…
I can wiggle my middle toe on each foot without any other toe moving, impressive right? I have a pet hedgehog, and absolutely love chocolate (especially dark chocolate).
You can read all about what I believe in my blog. However, I do have a deep dark secret…I used to find the Bible deathly boring, even though I believed in God and called myself a Christian. I realized that there were so many passages in the Bible that I didn’t really understand and there were even things that seemed to contradict themselves, never mind trying to reconcile the differences between what science proves and what I thought I believed. I desperately needed understanding.
“The unfolding of your words gives light; it give understanding to the simple.” ~Psalm 119:130
Without understanding we cannot truly obey, and if we cannot obey, that means we cannot truly love God, His word, and the one He sent (Jn 14:23).

Just wanted to say thanks for your kind words of appreciation. As I said to Earlie, it’s great to spread some sunshine around. The world needs happiness and I think awards give bloggers a degree of confidence to keep writing and, may achieve one of the basic displays of happiness: a smile (which is the most rewarding!)

There really is an honesty and goodness to your blog. Thank you for sharing Christianity and genuine views on biblical topics. Even though I’m not entirely converted one way or the other, I enjoy reading and thinking about the topics you write about.
