“In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.”

~Proverbs 16:9

  1. Thanks for sharing. Love this verse, too! :)

One portion of scripture that love is Psalm 27:13-14
13 I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the LORD
in the land of the living.
    14 Wait for the LORD;
    be strong and take heart
    and wait for the LORD.

  2. Proverbs 2 v 1-11:
“My son, if you accept my words
and store up my commands within you,
    turning your ear to wisdom
and applying your heart to understanding,
and if you call out for insight
    and cry aloud for understanding,
and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
then you will understand the fear of the LORD
and find the knowledge of God.
    For the LORD gives wisdom,
and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
He holds victory in store for the upright,
he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,
for he guards the course of the just
and protects the way of his faithful ones.
Then you will understand what is right and just
    and fair—every good path.
For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
    Discretion will protect you,
    and understanding will guard you.”

    • I was reading this just the other day :) There is so much amazing information in this passage, like how we have to store up God’s commands within us, and be so desperate for understanding and wisdom that we cry aloud, call out, and search as for hidden treasure.
Wisdom is sweet to our soul, like honey is sweet to our taste (Pr 24:13-14).

      Thanks for sharing LL!
