“I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.”

~John 14:29

We have been given everything we need in God’s word, all the prophecies and all the signs. Now we have to seek the explanation of these things, things that have been hidden since the creation of the world (Ps 78:2; Mt 13:34-35). We have been told everything before it happens…why? so that when it does happen we will believe.

But will we believe and have faith when these signs and prophecies are fulfilled? Will we have the faith that is required of us? Even Jesus said, “However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (Lk 18:8)

~~~
God does not ask us to have faith without providing the evidence and the explanations that we need. But when the evidence and explanations are available, we must accept and believe in His fulfillment.
“Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.” ~Rv 12:10
  1. Thank you. It’s crazy how we have everything we need, but choose to look in different places. All I can say is Amen to this one!
    • I have always been amazed at how many different commentaries, books, study guides, and even just denomintaions there are in Christianity. Doesn’t 1 Cor 1:10 say, “I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be prefectly united in mind and thought.”
      Hope you have an awesome weekend! :)
